Here's a couple of my remaining F/B's , both customs , one being a bush knife ( I did the leather ) , the other being a small defensive piece by Ken Brock .

A small knife , for delicate work , you can only choke up on a big blade so far !

+1 it's lovely leatherwork but can we see just a little more of the knife?

The knife was made in response to experience on a bush survival course . A compromise between a finnish Leuku and a small hatchet , the smaller blade being for delicate tasks . The steel is A2 , it's quite light in the hand due to the tapered tang . the one I have is the only one made . It works well in the bush . The scales are black linen micarta , the bolt sets are a coppery bronze . The blade stock is 1/4" , you wont break this puppy , it's actually a light weight carry , unusual in large choppers .

Now that is interesting (and not what I would have thought was hidden in that sheath).  Visually it's not my thing but I can certainly appreciate the thought behind the design.  Thanks for sharing.

It's butt ugly but chops very well ,it's not a PITA to carry and is quite livley in the hand .

The Brock street weasel is a nasty little defensive /back up piece . It's made by a fiesty , pint sized Deputy sherrif from South Carolina . Like it's maker , it's a dependable little fighter !

Works not too bad in the woods , the sharp false edge is good for a lot of nasty chores . The enclosed pic gives a good idea of it's ruggedness ( 3/16" S30V )

Actually it's a well thought out design , in untutored hands it's quite safe to chop with . Small hatchets cause a lot of edge related accidents in the Canadian bush , knives are a lot safer to chop with , if less efficient .

I'm a Kukri man, so I can see the advantages of having all that weight up front

It does look like it would make a great chopping tool
