Paracord Drop Loop
« on: April 28, 2009, 11:49:30 PM »
I made these over the weekend...

Basically a variation on the paracord bracelet. The difference being that the male half of the buckle is mounted in reverse so that it forms a J-hook. That helps prevent the sheath's D-ring from slipping past when unlatched and also allows the bracelet to be flattened.

So now I've got 8 foot of cordage, a signal whistle and a firesteel with my BHK Bushcrafter.

It also works with the Scandi thong.

I originally tried wearing these with the buckle-up as in the photo, but found that it is more comfortable buckle-down.

Looks good i like your whistle buckle. I have made the bracelet's i might have to make one of these. Where did you get the whistle buckle? I have been buying dog collars at the dollar store for the hardware.
