Who has BO SuperTool?

Hey guys how often have you seen a BO SuperTool? I know a few of you have them but I was just wondering how many of you :D If you have any pics please show ;) Not only BO but SS SuperTools ::) if you have pics of either 1 I just like seeing SuperTools ;)
Merit Badges Post your pocket dump photos then challenge two more members who must post their pocket dump photos within 24hrs for you to get the badge. Must update or add a page on the Multitool.org Multitool Encyclopedia Carry an orange item and post a picture of it everyday for 30 days. Start a thread with a photo of at least ten OPT's in your collection Participate in a challenge by carrying  a Leatherman Pulse or ST200 and post a photo of it  for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of the Leatherman MiniTool for thirty (30) consecutive days. In this challenge,  carry one(1) Pliers-based or Non-pliers multitool that we always have prejudice against, hate or even fear and post a picture everyday for 30 days Using EDC items randomly selected with a poker hand, post a photo of your EDC or a component of the EDC that got used during the course of the day for 4 weeks (or 30 consecutive days) In the spirit of the Batman utility belt. I think I have a BO Supertool somewhere... I know I have a BO ST200 for sure.  I'll do a little digging later and snap some photos.

I picked up a used but near mint black oxide SuperTool a while back on ebay. When I first got it, the pliers would not fully close. It was in dire need of a cleaning and lube job, but after a little work it looked like new! I'll have to try and take some pics of it. Mine did not come with the leather sheath, but a camouflage nylon sheath. Was this an option for the SuperTool? At first I thought it wasn't an original Leatherman sheath, but it looks exactly like the Leatherman black nylon version (except camo - no logo anywhere on it.)

I am willing to say that it's a LM sheath :tu: I have a camo PST sheath that I got from DaveK a while back and past the packaging it has no LM marking at all and I know that the camo sheath was an option for the SuperTool as well once upon a time ;) BTW does you SuperTool by any chance have the cap crimper :think: if so then the camo sheath came with it because that was the military BO version :tu: I don't believe the one I am getting has the crimper but it does have a leather sheath instead of camo I guess you could say that's it's more of a civilian BO version ::) :D

Hi Poncho,

I have two BO Supertools - one with regular plier jaws and one with cap crimper jaws.  Still looking for a SS Supertool with Cap Crimper jaws.

Thanks for the info. My SuperTool does not have the crimper. I did stop by the local knife shop last week and they were able to find an original brown Leatherman sheath for the SuperTool stashed under the counter. I asked how much they wanted for it and was told " How about $5.00?" I couldn't pass that up. Looks like I now have a civilain BO ST too ;) .

Apparently I only have (or can find) 4 Supertools, and apparently only one of them is an original SuperTool- the other three are ST200's.

Thanks for the pics guys :tu: My BO SuperTool got here today :mail: and It is great :cheers: It was NIB and the box was an old style box and it had a nice shiny old school leather LM sheath and all it's papers :o I am quite happy with it :tu: The knife blade is the newer type and the datecodes are 0397 on both handles :D

I will try and get some pics up tomorrow or the next day cause today has been somewhat busy ;)

Now I need to find cap crimper versions :ahhh ::) :D

Yes that's "modified" as in "I broke one of the jaw tips" :-[ and then had to work on the other to match.  If I had thought about it I should have sent it in for repair but it worked out in the end.

I found one in a gunshop a few years back and got it for about $35, box and all. Mine was made in 97 so I have no idea why it hadn't sold yet(although I know they still have a kershaw k100 there so maybe no one looks at that stuff?).
