Today I went with my OG Wave and Rogue :tu:  I'm glad I broke some of my items free from the storage unit...I've missed them :D

Was checking out your pictures of the Rogue. Sweet tool load out.

Is that a Wenger nail file or do Vics have them too? Also is that a Combo Tool? It is hard to see in the picture.

Thanks my friend (enemy ) :)

That nail file is from a Vic Cadet.  There is no combo tool in it, just the bottle opener and the pruner blade in that front layer.  Now that I have it back, I'm enjoying carrying it.  I carried it exclusively for a good while, same as I had been with the Rogueneer the past several months.  The only reason I stopped carrying the Rogue was because I got the Rogueneer.

The 91mm cellidor style is better for my typical needs and the needs of others around me at times (mostly the wife), so the Rogueneer won out.  Still, there's just something about alox that makes me want to carry it, and the black scale/red liner combo is a favorite of mine.  A Syph custom demands to be carried, especially when you consider all that goes into it :salute:

What does OG stand for and how is it different from a regular Wave?

It's how some here refer to the original Wave.  It is slimmer and has a different tool loadout, but not by much.  No bit driver basically, with four different sized flathead drivers (LM went crazy with those I'd say), and different style scissors.

You like that one better or are to cheap to upgrade?

I like it better overall, as I'm not a fan of the bit driver, mainly because I won't carry extra bits on me.  It can be useful in the home though.  I also like the scissors as they're beefier and seem tougher.  The OG Wave was one of the retired LMs I really wanted to get though since I really got the MT bug and discovered the various retired models.  I actually had the current Wave first, and sold that along with a few other MTs last year.  I can't say I'd have been too cheap considering at one time I had the current Wave, Charge AL and Charge TTi.  That's why I kept the TTi and sold the other two, as there was no real need to have all three being practically the same.

My Skeletool and my home made keybar. And it FINALLY CLICKED IN MY HEAD. instead of just a keybar, I need to find a scissored small leatherman and put the keys in one of those!

I'd then have a knife, skeletool, and scissors all on me at once!

I see.

Don't be scared to try new stuff it can be fun.

Come to think of it though if you are not already into SAKs run, run away very fast. Maybe try crack or the heroin, less addictive.

Vic Manager (temporarily off the car keys as I've taken the car for it's test this morning)
Vic Tourist
Gerber Balance

A little bit blade heavy, but couldn't be bothered fiddling with split rings to take my Tourist off the house key
