Odd, I was under the impression that it was sizes six or seven and up that locked?

Def

You're quite right.  What I meant to say was that all the sizes that previously had locking rings now also have the 'lock closed' notch as well as the 'lock open', not that more of the sizes had locks.  Does that make more sense?

I'm probably not the best person to be asking about what makes sense right now- it's been a long day and my brain is mush..... mushier than usual even!

I was looking around the garage for things to 'paint' with linseed oil.... Ah, My opinal :D

When I was 16 or 17 I broke the tip off my No 10 opinal  :-[

I didn't make too bad a job of sharpening it back then but looking at it now I thought I can do a bit better than that now, so I re-profiled/sharpened the blade :)

I rubbed it down and added a finger choil, then as the blade is shorter its harder to get out
so added another little dip on one side

Then added a coat of linseed oil  :tu:

That's a little outside my skill set
But then again, that's never stopped me in the past  :D

So handle similar to a Svord and the blade a bit longer then. Hmmm, sounds like a nice size.  Thanks for that.  :)

I like the clean up job on the handle. The blade re profile turned out good. The lanyard hole is sweet but were is the lanyard?  :pok:
