Well I'm not a light nut so I can't be too technical but I do like it very much. I find the mode spacing to very useful. High is very bright and the lowest is quite dim (good thing). The UI makes sense and works well for me. I love the fact that it has a battery level indicator. It runs off of a AA. I've always been partial to AA and AAA lights. It's relatively easy on the pocket. It will tail stand. And it looks pretty cool too . It's a winner in my book.Haha, I'm not too light tech either and I really appreciate your summery, thank you.

I normally carry my AAA lights on my keys so unless the anodising is pretty tough they look like hell quite quickly.

They destroy things quickly. I don't really make a habit of putting much on my keyring anymore.

They just tore up too many SAK scales. I imagine they could do the same to a flashlight lens, if given a chance.
very nice setup

It's a little to big for EDC and set up as a dedicated light to use with a pistol for home defense. But it has the best tint of any light I have ever owned and the "bulletproofness" of Malkoff/Surefire is very reassuring.
Nice sheath as well Terry. Mind if I ask what the slip of paper in the front is?

I like AA and AAA lights simply for the ease of finding new batteries if need be. I have 2 SwissChamps. This one is an older version. I only recently really began giving it some pocket time. To my surprise it's really not too bad in the pocket. And with so many tools it's really growing on me.The Bark River is a Pro Scalpel II. It came with a nice leather belt sheath that is slim enough to slip into a pocket or sometimes I will carry it in my KSF Adirondack pocket sheath.
