No, it's natural HA. The shot was underexposed because I had the lights turned on, and the Prometheus was reflecting the overhead lights. However, I will say that the most recent (especially the US-produced) Zebralights seem to have more of a darker-gray finish now, rather than the more "greenish" finish they used to have.
Potted electronics are much more liquid and shock resistant than unpotted circuitry. They are basically encapsulated in epoxy.It still would be an issue if a battery leaked, as the chemicals would contact the underside of the driver board where the (+) contact is. My advice is to never leave alkaline batteries unattended inside a flashlight.

Wow, this thread got dropped a while ago Time to bring it back to life I think. Today, and for a good long time now, I've been carrying my Eagletac D25A Clicky on my keys. Backed up with my 2xAAA LED Mini-Maglite in my organiser.
