I always wanted to get a Waved Spyderco. How does the Wave work compared to the Emerson's?

LOL. I have never tried the Emerson Wave either. I do really like the wave on the new Kershaw/Emerson line though.

Having both Emerson and Spyderco Waved models, I can say that to me, they are fairly equal and have the similar mechanics when drawing from the pocket. I found they needed a bit of tuning of the pivot to get the right amount of force to stay closed, then deploy without tearing the pocket to pieces every time.

There's nothing like the look on someone's face when you 'Wave' near them (especially if they've never seen it before) >:D.

I'm back with my old Northwoods stockman. Can't help it, I just love this knife so much I can't levee it sit. Has such a nice old school feel to it, not to mention the choice of having there different blades to choose from is nice. Plain 1095 steel that gets scary wicked sharp easy. If I'm not carrying a SAK, odds are the Northwoods is in my pocket.

Don't get too serious, just enough will do.

They are a robust knife, I was pleased to get this one, its in new condition, I might give the 'corners' a little rub down as they are a little sharp
