Pen help needed
« on: June 08, 2009, 08:19:20 PM »
I am in the market for a new pen which is the following;

- Compact
- All metal construction
- Ball point

Apart from the Space pen, are there any other good options out there?

Only other all metal I know of is zebra F701, although it's standard size not compact.

I have seen those and they are available at a good price.  I'm not ruling them out, but something smaller would be nice.

I bought an Inka pen and I'm not terribly fond of it.  It works well enough, but it's somewhat involved to set up so you have a full sized writing instrument- not good for quickly jotting something down, but probably ok for some extended writing.

I'd stick with the Fisher Bullet.

The Bullet is OK, but 1, I'd like a change and 2, I'm not the hugest fan of the Fisher refills.

I'm surprised how few small EDC type pens there are TBH.

Does it have to be all metal? (inka is not btw) If not I like my F301 compact a lot, I keep it in my wallet but it's not being used much anymore since I started with fountain pens.

I'll take a look.

Maybe I'll change it to mainly metal.  :D
