Hello!
I am currently developing a mod to the skeletool which makes it a lot more versatile in my eyes.
The plan is to add a permanent (non folding) blade holder for t-shank blades (similar to the surge one) at the place where the biner used to be on my skeletool.
Some scissors would be nice to - they will go in the layer where the replacement bit used to be. As i am carring some leatherman bits in my wallet i do not need them to be on the tool.
I am planning to carry some blades next to those bits in my wallet.

here is a little conceptual picture:

The skeletool has already lost its biner :-)

The t-shank holer is completly developed and ready to be made.
I am still searching for some chrage/wave scissors to complete my mod.

Here you go:

This is just a quick try with my dremel tool and its not really mounted. Its just nice to se how it looks.

As you might have noticed, the holder wont work that way.
Here is the whole contruction i made which consists of the acual holder, a bottom plate and a turnable lid which holds the blade in place.

I just sent those drawings to a lasercutter. I hope to see some results soon.

well, it should not really be a problem to exchange the skeletool blade for a non-1ho one.
Fuse scissors is a great idea. I had no clue, that those were the same as on charge/wave.

here is another picture showing that the charge scissors should fit in. They wouldn`t be accessible from the ouside though :-/

[edit] The leatherman fuse is 40€ here in germany. Thats a little steep for some scissors... hm. Perhaps i can get hold of a used one.

I'll give you a Fuse for the modded 2HO Skeletool.. (what do you mean, it's not a good deal...) Grin Grin
(The Skele blade is quite unique, so how could that be possible..?) Huh

haha, well if i would want anything else than this skelesurge ;-) that might be a deal.
If the blade holder works as expected i will be doing a limited run of ten or so for anyone interested. Youd have to assemble it yourself though.

The skeletool blade is unique as its a bit shorter than normal blades. But yu could alway grind a normal one down till it fits. Might look ugly but it should work. The liner lock might be a bit tricky though...
