Hey Shorty66, amazing job you've done there. What a great idea. If you are going on to mod your Skurge a little more, do you think it would be possible to add to the original, cut off clip/bottle opener an extension, so it fits into the bit/blade holder, so it's kind of backmodded? I was thinking about cutting one bit in half and welding it to the bottom of the clip/bottle opener. That way it would also double as a small screwdriver.

That way one could have a "standard" Skeletool in the pocket and all the Surge-Bonuses in the backpack.

Here's a poorly made mock up:

Likely to be a lot easier to do with a Wave/Charge/surge bit driver, since those are already "loose"

Evil already has a stubby bit driver in the works. Mine mine does not have a caribiner clip though. I opted for a lanyard hole..... ;)

Thats a nice mockup silver!
I dont really see a point in that mod though:
The carabiner offers two tools: The biner and the bottleopener.

I dont need a seperate bottle opener as a bottle is easily opened with the pliers (lighter technique). The bottleopener on the biner took me more time to open a bottle.
The biner could still be used, but as its only held by the tiny bit lever i wouldn`t like to trust it. I`d fear to lose my skeletool that way.

Additinally the tool would be larger and heavier.

Your mockup of a Leatherman-styled small biner-screwdriver is nice though. I don`t think it adds much use to my Skelesurge but its definatly a nice tool on its own.
T - `cause i like tea :)
