I disassembled and reassembled my Waltham model 1883 twice, using the micro screwdriver and chisel on my Swisschamp, and why I don't quite know! Boredom, possibly?!

I had just drilled a hole in the leg socket of a Weber kettle grill. But the hole turned out to be a bit small for the first screw I tried, and I twisted the head off with the impact driver.

I used the pliers on the Victorinox CyberTool 34 to back the rest of the screw out.

I also use the small blade to mark a few points on an old oak broom handle for where I would cut if off with a jigsaw. I was planning to make new handles for the grill, as the old wood ones were rotted out. Didn't get too far though, as the steaks were done first. Come to think of it, I could've used the pen to do that marking...

Spirit X

Knife to unpack new kitchen appliances (fridge, freezer, and slow cooker)
Phillips screwdriver to reverse freezer door (can opener to prise off blanking plugs)
Pliers to cut moulded plug off washing machine, and plug and a length of flex from an extension lead. Correction: I used dedicated pliers here
Wire stripper on chisel and small screwdriver to connect the two (extending the cable)
Phillips and small screwdriver to remove and refit a plug on the fridge after routing the cable through to a switched fused spur.
Awl to scribe a section of laminate flooring to be chopped out
Bottle opener for accessing a well deserved beer

I used my Huntsman, Style CS, and Opinel No.9 to cut a universal screen protector down to size. A team effort! :D

With my new Leatherman Rebar, I

Cut a cable:

Squished it round again; it flattened a bit when I cut it:

Used the knife to strip the jacket and cut the strings:

Used the hard wire cutter to strip the individual strands:

Ready for connection!

Is it me, or is the wire stripping notch in the LM can opener 94% useless?

Wouldn't cutting the insulation be easier with the notch on the can opener?

I'll try it next time, but I don't think so.

I used the MP600's file to pry open a can of polyurethane tonight.  Used the scissors to cut some fine sandpaper as well.  Then later discovered a splinter in my finger and used my Rogueneer's tweezers to pull it out.

I tried it the other day. It works surprisingly well. I'm not sure how it'll work on building wiring with that really tough clear-coated insulation, but I'm going to try that too, first chance I get.

Great. I know the notch on my Spirit worked really well if there was enough wire to twist in the first place.

Also congrats on the 1k. Now it's time for the lard and the chicken

It has not been a great day in Smaug's Lair.

My 3 year-old Daughter had a 102 fever when I picked her up from daycare yesterday. This morning, she was like new...for 2 hours, then got the fever back and became really whiney. Fed her twice, watched 1.5 Disney movies, and now she's down for the nap.

Doesn't look like I'm going to get out and have a chance to really put my MT to good use, but I did use the small screwdriver to break the seal on a bottle of kids' acetaminophen to help knock her fever down while she sleeps. Those shrink wrap seals are pretty tight sometimes; there's no WAY I could've gotten this one with a fingernail.

In the background, you can see the half-eaten PB&J rice cake she had for lunch.

Removed the carburetor from a hedge trimmer four times. I tried to fix it for someone.
But these carbs are a disaster. I do rather work on a 1000cc motorcycle than a 35cc strimmer.

Used my Raptor to cut and assemble a box for the kittens. Cut through the cardboard fairly easy although hurt my hand a little.

Cutting 1/4" off the ends of some 1 by 2's. Not the straightest of cuts but nipped through the 3 I trimmed pretty fast.

Say down with Skelly and finally put a sharp edge on the 154CM blade that I installed a while ago. Had to pay it back a good bit but boy is it sharp now.

I'd rather work on the 35cc trimmer. Why? Because I'd just buy a new carb. They're cheap, and as you said, too fiddly to work with.

I did a carb rebuild job on my old '82 Suzuki GS850G. Doing everything four times, and having to sync them was a pain in the neck. At least with the trimmer, you'd be done after one time. (assuming you bought a new carb)

I used the Wave as a steak knife. :)

(note the discarded plastic butter knife at the top of the frame.)

...by the way, I'm a little surprised  that this thread is getting less action than the "Please Ignore This" thread. C'mon fellas, get those cell phone cameras clicking!  :pok:

Used my multitool to open a package with another tool!

Specifically, my MUT opened the envelope with my new Croc.

Widdled a couple sticks to use for marshmallow roasting with my new to me CHARGE ALX. Between the saw and the knife being easily accessible i would say it was the perfect tool for that task.
