CRKT/ID Works Giveaway!
on: July 23, 2009, 02:27:59 AM

Time to give away a Guppie!

To be eligible to win this one you need to tell me who designed the Guppie, just because I wanted to add a twist!  Here's a hint, I have met both of them at SHOT Shows, and got my photo taken with one of them this year!

I'll draw a winner from the correct answers in a couple of days.  I love it when we run out of time before we run out of prizes!  :D

Right here!

I know everyone is just going to copy and paste the first guy's answer, but what if the first guy is wrong?  Then what?  :D

The patented* Guppie™, designed by Launce Barber and Tom Stokes, was voted the Best Buy Of The Year at the 2007 Blade Show & International Cutlery Fair, sponsored by Blade Magazine, held June 8 to 10, 2007, in Atlanta, Georgia.

Tom and Launce say, “The Guppie™ was born from the need for a small, pocketable wrench-based tool that could tackle small- to medium-sized jobs. The name comes from its fish-like form.” That Launce and Tom were able to pack all the other Guppiefeatures— knife, carry carabiner, screwdriver, bottle opener, bit carrier, hex bits and LED light— into this small package is a tribute to their sophisticated engineering ability.

I'll sit this one out seeing that:

1. I was at the Shot Show this year and ..........

2. I won the $25 gift certificate at EDCdepot yesterday and have a new Swisstool inbound from the "depot"

Good luck everyone
Why do I carry a 45 ?
Because they don't make a 46 !
