I like the idea.

But unfortunately I have no clue at all when mine will be shipped. I ordered from Cabelas and they said 0-1 weeks for shipping time.

I think its been about 3, almost 4 weeks since the order.

There must be a lot of demand for them right now. Didnt know that they would be this popular.

Just a few thoughts after playing with the ST300 for a few days.

Pros:
-Pliers have a new design, they feel strong , beefy, and durable
-Wire cutters seem strong, did not have the chance to use them
-"Edge-safety cumpling" system is a good addition, here is how LM describes this feature: The idea of “clumping” was originally introduced with the first Super Tool. By pulling on only one tool, you would get them all from the handle at once, including the knives. To improve on safety, the new ST300 has just that, “Edge-safety Clumping”. If you pull on either of the two knifes they are the only implement that will come out. Conversely if you pull on any of the other features the sharp-edged ones stay put.
-The screwdrivers have the perfect size for most professional uses
-Durability, you will be using this multitool for a long time
-The ST300 is perfect for work gloves
-Great tool to keep in your car, boat, toolbox, emergency kit, garage, fallout shelter, zombie kit, etc

Cons:
-H E A V Y multitool
-Bulky multitool
-No onehand opening, you are going to use both hands everytime you need a tool
-"Portability", I really don't know how to describe this, but this is not a tool you carry in belt for a long time. I tried to do that for a couple of days and it felt just weird

In general, I like the ST300, Leatherman has a nice product and I'd love to get my hands on the BO version  :D

That is all for now  :D

I will be joining in who knows when. I have had two on order for a while now. I just phoned the local shop, and they still claim the item is backordered. Their supplier is American though, so I hope I get them sooner than later.

Poncho65, mine came with a leather sheath, it is the same model for the Surge, it has two side pockets and one more inside. You can carry the tool in an open or closed position. Nothing special about it, the ST300 fits fine.

I'd be interested in seeing that, especially the relative thicknesses. :tu:
