That's funny- I can't count the number of times I worked plainclothes security and was reported to management because there was someone acting suspicious in one department or another.

I was patrolling a Complex on the Resort a few years ago, IN UNIFORM, a badge and all, and a new female police officer called my plates in and stopped me.  She had seen my uniform and everything.  She was new to the area and didn't like anyone poking around at 2 am, even though it was my job.

Back when I was a dispatch/communications officer in Toronto I got a call from one of my guards in the field reporting that she'd spotted a car on one of her patrols that shouldn't have been there.  I asked her to get more details from a safe distance which she did- it was a police car, and since this was a pretty remote location the officer thought it would be a safe place to "interrogate" a prostitute!

Good thing for that officer that I sent the guard back to check it out further rather than just call it in for the cops to check out.

I can see how they didn't spot it though, it's pretty subtle.  Very funny BTW.
