Are Artifact's and other cheaper tool's welcome in here?

So far most of the tool's in here are sadly either too expensive or quite rare

So how about a shout out for the cheaper, more accessible tool's like the Artifact

I really like my 2, as they've got a fine selection of tool's, are very strong, and best of all saves me from doing something potentially fatal to one of my sak's/mt if I need to do some prying

So any other fan's of the Artifact, or other cheaper tool's in here???

I like all types of keychain and pocket tools. For $11 (US), the Pocketwrench II is my favorite bargain tool. Dennis had a great idea of adding one to his LM Charge sheath. I tried it and it fits perfect!

Yes mike I like the cheaper Artifact too,sometimes because Atwoods tend to hold and sometimes increase in value I was reluctant to use them for that reason,the artifact on the other hand I would carry and use if it breaks I just buy a new one £10

I love both the Artifact and the Shard.  I think they are great tools....

And, out of all the pretty tools folks have already posted, I think this one is the best:



But then I could be a bit biased....

I really have mixed feeling about the Shard and the Artifact. My Artifact is bigger than I expected and seems to be real bulky, however the pry end/driver is real sharp and does well at it's intended job. The Shard is perfect for my pocket but the pry end on this one sucks, it's way to steep and when they got this one out of the mold it's rather rounded there. The difference between both of them is like night and day, if my Shard looked more like my Artifact I would take the Atwood out of my pocket and then I would be happy  Course, maybe a file and some hard work could sharpen up those edges, maybe I out to do some modding...or would that be fixing?

Those are coming....

The Artifact's extra length is a good thing in a pry bar.  Length = leverage, which is something all of these short pry bars seem to lack, and is one of the Shard's biggest drawbacks IMHO.

Not a fan of the artifact at all.     I really dislike that blade.

The Shard on the other hand (which I got today just in case I hadn't mentioned  ) is more my cup of tea.    That I can see getting a lot of use, particularly in work.

The nice thing about that blade is it's replaceable and that there are a number of different kinds of blades that can be put in it.

I have nearly cut myself so many times trying disengage and close the knife on the artifact I just gave it away.
