The cutters on the Gerber are for copper wire only. That's why the Powercut was such an interesting tool.
Here was I expecting a nice calm review. Not MT torture Naughty tool abuser Mat In fairness I think the Gerber cutters look like electrical cable cutters. Will you be able to get hold of new carbide inserts OK?

Ugh. Seems like with an official company name like Gerber Legendary Blades they would strive to make their knife blades better than that.
Maybe when Gerber says "Fend for yourself" they mean "Fix it yourself"
