Double bitted opinions please!

I'm not a fan of double bit axes. Aside from the fact that you can't use it as a hammer, I'm horrified at the idea of the axe bouncing back at me (or slipping off of my hands) while chopping wood. I can think of better - and less brutal - ways to hurt myself.

Those axes look sexy, though.

Well I recieved an email response from Lee, and he apoligized for the failure of his axe and right now it is on its way to Oklahoma where Lee is going to rectify the issue.. Lee mentioned that the issue probably had too do with the wedge drying out and shrinking a bit so for all you fellow axers, make sure you give yours a nice wipedown with some Linseed oil every once and a while.. Will post pics once it returns here at das bunker..

Just received an email from Lee stating that the double bit has been repaired via a new wedge, resharpened and given a good workout with no issues so it's on its way.. Will post pics and report of it's rebirth so stay tuned..
