@Bob how old? well from some research we did awhile back we got it to 1983   



@Turnstone you're right to a point as this can be carried without the handle in the wallet  but ideally you would carry it in a pouch with the handle,so yes and no!

Here's my contribution found by my dog in the undergrowth whist searching for truffles,just kidding on the truffles  as the only truffles found where I live is dog poop truffles "NOT EDIBLE" they're everywhere   

This one you can actually use with out damaging your hand while using the saw/blade
