How out-of-touch must a company be with its consumer base to ever let crap ideas like these get past the drawing board? :P

Exactly,  How could they think making knives like those were a good idea?

HOLD ON! ... don't be bashing them without having any sales figures. :D

Who knows? Maybe the bikecurious really do love that motorcycle folder?

As to it being a rip off... this time I can only agree.
And I don't think that'd work as a wave.

south park reference FTW

Well I kinda saw the writing on the wall monthes ago for SOG. I knew by the questionare that they were going to start the China syndrome and that the company would go this route. Shame on the new Sog, and bring back the Old SOG we respect. I for one will now never buy another sog item.

Well It kinda goes to show how the company is going to do buissness in the future. They are now not only "borrowing" a design but also insulting peoples intelegence by changing it a little to  fool the masses. I for one feel that it is a Copy of the endura and all they did was slit the hole and change the texture of the handle.

Dozens and dozens of new variations introduced by SOG this year, and nearly all of them were Chinese imports. :-\ More details to follow....

I hope that you voiced our opinion on that matter.................and it looks like I have to start buying SOG's really fast before the modells that I want is made in China.

Yup I voted accross the board on it how I felt about the Fusion line. I understand a company has to make money, but if they are doing bad this is not the way to go. Remember Camillus and Schrade. Both doing poorly on the financial front and when they started to knowck out poorly made stuff. well the companys tanked.

I think that the Fusion line is great since the people that can’t afford the high en stuff have an option. But if they move the entire production line to China I am very disappointed with SOG, I think that they will lose a lot of customers if they do that and they are better of keeping the production in the US

I am not debating that you can get quality stuff from China, but history has shown that when a company moves the production to China to make more money the quality will get worse.

If SOG can make good quality tools and knifes in China then I am going to keep buying their stuff, but I am afraid that this is not the smartest move SOG have done.

Dunno, Spyderco, Benchmade and other have pretty good quality made in China. If the SOG products are as good as Spyderco or Byrd I´ll keep loving them.

Like I've said before,  I think the new foreign powerlock heads are an improvement over the USA made ones.  So getting quality from China is completely possible.  But at the same time I would never even consider getting one of there new knives.  For example look at the new tech bowie.    That kind of money for a Taiwan made, AUS8 knife is insane if you ask me. You can get so many better fixed blades for that kind of money.  Like the Fallkniven A1

But what  I'm most worried about is the stupid,  corny designs and the garbage steel SOG continues to use.
All just my own personal opinion.

I personally think that the USA made Spyderco and Benchmades are better quality than the China made Spyderco and Benchmades.  I own a couple China made Benchies and IMO, there's a big difference in quality.

It all depends on what your standards are.  I am willing to pay the extra money for what I believe is a better made knife.

Absolutely. The US made Spydies ARE better, and the blue or black class Benchmades are better than the red class. But this does not mean the Red class is bad - just not as good. If the Micro ToolClip is close to the quality standard of a Spyderco Tenacious it will be great. Maybe it would be even greater if US made, but still great.
