By the way, we are told that the "new" Alinghi is outfitted as it was intended to be right from the beginning; with EvoGrip scales and an onboard hex bit driver. (along with a couple of extended length hex bits) There just wasn't time for all the additional features to be integrated two years ago.

Both updates are definitely worthwhile in my opinion.

Unfortunately not, but as there really isn't much that's special to them (ie, no new tools, just a new color and some laser etching) I don't imagine it will be long before they are available.
