Last year I posted some pics of some of the famous and/or interesting people we had met at the show, and well it looks like we have some serious star power going on this year as well!  Here's a few of the folks we have had the pleasure to meet so far:

Brian Tighe, knife designer:

Bob was lucky enough to get an audience with Spencer Fraser from SOG:

Peter Hug, CEO of Wenger SA:

Michael D. Janich, self defense instructor, knife designer:

Les De Asis, CEO of Benchmade:

J. Bruce Voyles, Editor of Knives Illustrated magazine:

Glenn Klecker, knife designer (and the guy what done the Skeletool!):

Bob wins this round with this one though:

What did he win?  A chance to test out SOG's new folding shovel!

Careful Bob- that astroturf looks tough!

What's that? You meant you could have spent all this time writing up about new tools?

Disappointing Def. Disappointing. Grin

In all seriousnessicity though. I'm jealous. Sad
Is it just me or are most knife designers... portly?

For those who haven't had the benefit of seeing Banzai, this might explain it:

hehe that was an awesome show... we used to watch it when we lived in the UK... even did a radio show trailer spoof of it for one of the DJs.

Another good one was the lady 1 question

We visited SOG yesterday and they had 40+ new items to show us.  It'll take a while for us to get through all the new products and pictures for SOG, so bear with us.  Yesterday was a long one, and while today seems a little more relaxed, we have a BIG meeting first thing that we have to run off to.  Some company called Leatherman... I never heard of them but Bob starts drooling at the mere mention of their name, so I guess they are important!

Oh, and yes, those are new Micro Toolclips, and yes, we have pictures.  Bob was even smart enough to bring his old one with him, so we have some great comparison pics!
