I think NNR should get a Balisong next. And learn how to open it all the cool ways.
Now that I thinks about that, maybe not.

Scary, very scary.  I was  thinking an Oyster knife

Made a new scale for my Chokwe.  It's a great knife, but wasn't liking the stock G-10 scale that much.

Absolutely

Thanks guys.  The wood is Pacific Yew.  I harvested it in January last year from an area I was building trails in.  Left it to dry in the shade for 12 months then took it to a friends shop and milled it.  Let the boards dry for another couple of months then made some scales for a couple of SAKs and this Chokwe.  Pacific Yew is the closest we have to a hard wood around here (mostly fir, cedar, and hemlock in my area).  Sanded it to 600 grit.

The more important question is, why would Harley know that?

Good idea!  Next time I have it apart for cleaning I'll take a look and see if I can make it work.

The Spyderco Vallotton Sub-Hilt Folder.

The S30V blade is hollow-ground at the cutting edge but with a convex-grind at the tip.
