Gerber Splice

I have a splice on the way.

Well... I received my Splice today and I'm very disappointed in the overall quality of the tool. I find the fit and finish to be very poor, but I wasn't expecting too much for what the tool cost. I find the tools very hard to take out and the phillips screwdriver is a joke. The addition of a serrated blade was one thing that I did like about the Splice.    The scissors weren't too bad either. Overall I would say save your $$$ for a Leatherman S4 instead of buying this tool. Needless to say, this will be my last Gerber purchase.

I just received the green Splice, also.

This copy pretty much mirrors what has been posted already.

It is not really a viable candidate to replace the Micra or Squirt. It is not as nice as the SOG Crosscut. It is worth the $13 shipped price that I paid for it. The Splice would be much better if the tools were smoother and easier to get out and the sharp edges were smoothed out. The potential is there to make it a handy micro tool.
