Leatherman Standard 'Leather' Pouch: Hot or Not..

It's such a shame Leatherman doesn't make Quality Sheaths for Quality Tools..

Ive only ever had leather pouches, now i didnt mind these and thought they was ok until i got a old PST's pouch and can see there no way as good, but i still would use one, what are thay made of though, i did think some kind of leather but not sure

Its not that i love or hate them, i think they are ok, but thats it, they fulfill their purpose
I think the ones from the Wave or Charge are much better, they should make all of their sheaths that way.

they do feel very flimsy, the premium sheaths are far better.

I like the old ones, but the vote is for the current one.

As for the new ones, I am waiting for the disclaimer, no cattle were injured or parts were used in the making of these sheaths.

I got enough of the old ones that hopefully will get me through my working years.

Hate the new ones.  Calling them 'leather' is like calling MDF 'wood'.

Really disappointing IMO. They work, but I get the feeling not for that long.

The Wave leather sheath is a bit better, and the Charge's - I like a lot, but those things are cack. In addition the thickness of the "leather" varies so much that some are actually crapper than others!

The 1 with my Blast held up fairly well but compared to the old school LM sheaths they are awful Can't wait for the new LM sheath to come out maybe they will phase these out

I like the one that came with my st300, back and side elastic pockets are pretty handy, but I suppose I am jonsing for a molle sheath...

I would love a sheath constructed like the current wave sheaths but entirely out of leather with a snap and no velcro.
