Not everyone can get on with using a belt sheath/pouch, so how do you carry your tool's and equipment?

My little extra pocket mike  ;) but when ive no key and need a tool i carry the micra in the chap stick front pocket, ive just modified a pouch for the core, although its a big old tool so probably in my rucksack, i carry other tools in my hydration camel back while MTB'ing, or in the pannier on my road bike, it depend what im doing, im getting back into pouches though as much easier i think ,

The big problem with pouches, at least over here in the UK, is the fact that they advertise your 'tooled up' status to the old bill :-\

I know mike, yesterday monday while out i kept making sure my top was pulled down over my pouch , having them going across ways is probably better, but i like them the normal way, blooming world we live in,  :-\

I'm a big fan of the Leatherman pocket clip, with the tool clipped into a back pocket.  I do the same with folders.

If the tool has a no fuss carabiner (like the CRKT Guppie), I use that and clip it to a side belt loop.

I have a pouch that can be dangled in the back pocket . I wear it on some jobs where they have strict no weapons policies . I don'y like pocket carry for larger multi's .

I'll dust of the old camera .

clip is probably the way to go on smaller MT,s but not sure on bigger models, ive been fiddling with this pouch today, works well with the core, but would never be hidden, another idea is get a older type Mobile phone pouch as people will think its a mobile, ive been thinking about doing this with my digi camera's case, there is room for the core and a nice sized torch  :D

the pouch ive been fiddling with ,

and camera pouch ,

I gotta say I don't worry about carrying a belt pouch, never had it questioned even once.  I especially don't worry if whatever is in there is UK EDC legal, what's the point?  It's not like you are doing anything wrong. ???

A few pics . one is a IWB pistiol mag pouch , goes en suite with an IWB holster , and folder sheath - back to my IPSC days , with a NY state carry permit yet. The Dangler pouch goes in the back pocket , I made it during a contract we had in a Catholic school board . The other is an Arse protector , I made a few in the past for brothers and sisters in law - carried a second pistol mag , and a large folder ( in one case a Strider GB ) . I made a few that were skewed towards the great outdoors , folder , hone , torch , and fire steel .

All the above said , nowadays most people think of pouches as being associated with Smart phones and cell phones .

If I was you UK guys , I'd get a pair of black coveralls , an MP5 and a Glock , act like an arrogant plonker - everyone would assume you were the local armed response unit hunting terrorists . You could get away with blue bloody murder !
