that "safety cutter" is not very efective and ive learned the hard way that tantos are not that practical for every day use :-\

Both knives are great, but I´d prefer the Tenacious for EDC too (or Persistence?). So, great choice!

That's Tenacious, Persistence has a bit shorter blade :cheers: Good choice for edc :tu:, been carrying a Delica these days myself.

I had that SOG and that "safety cutter" was a poor design.  The assisted opening was neat and the blade was SEXY (I like tanto). :drool:

I just wish it came with a little rubber plug so you could fill in the gap where the cutter was and make it look better. IMHO

BTW you can never go wrong with a Spyderco. :cheers:
