Dear Members,

I am energized! It never ceases to amaze me when this happens. I took almost a month off from knifemaking to prepare for the Combat Class. Since the class, I have been revitalized once again. I have been furiously designing and building knives. It’s like I’ve tapped into something. There are not enough hours in a day.

As a result I’m going to be introducing 11 new custom designs this year. And they are going to rock!

And, I’ve got some very special things planned for the Gathering. I’m already working on those.

This is going to be a big year.

A very big year.

Yes, but some of those designs will proably make it into production at some point.       The only custom design that Ernie has said will never make it to production is the CQC6.

Mr. Emerson is a very ethical person . While he will include custom elements in his prodo knives , he will not mass produce his customs . He feels this would break faith with those who have bought customs .

This means that a lot of his custom stuff will never trickle down to our level .
