Chitlangi Sirupate kukri

This is my most recent aquisition, a Chitlangi Sirupate kukri, probably from Khukuri House.
I bought it second hand but unused from a Dutch auction site.
It's a beast,




Steel: Differentially hardened 5160 steel
Handle: Waterbuffalo Horn
Full tang construction
Overall length: 53,0 cm
Maximalum blade thickness: 10,2 mm
Weight: 835 gram

Together with my Tora Camping kukri and a Busse ASH1LE;

Looks lovely mate.

The edge is quite sharp.
I gave it a few swipes on a leather strop loaded with green Chromium compound and the sweet spot part is already able to shave hairs on skinlevel.
