My £8 bag as a BOB,lots of pictures.
« on: March 27, 2010, 12:08:11 PM »
Bagmen! listen up  :D I've made up my BOB please let me know if I'm missing anything

I have room to add more as I go but hope I've thought of everything I may need should the brown stuff hit the fan  :ahhh  :D

Side pocket contains some of my fire starting kits,Note: you can never have enough fire starting kits IMO  ;)

Other side pocket contains batteries, zippo rule, multitasker and a water proof alu match box  :tu:

Front pocket contains some tools and IMO important entertainment for long cold days  ;) I think to often things to keep you amused are left out of BOB's  :salute:

Main compartment contains a neck tube a lift out pouch in which are various items, incidentally the pouch can be removed and carried around the waist.

Rear pocket contains a CRKT STIFF KISS and a Gerber firestorm BTW both great bang for the buck  :salute:

Finally the front slip pockets can hold pens or in my case a kubaton and ITP A3 EOS light   ;)

Now! this is by no means exhaustive I can add or take away things as time goes by  ;)

Is there any first aid stuff in there John?
That's a little outside my skill set
But then again, that's never stopped me in the past  :D

I'm not sure I'd feel the need to carry quite as many can openers as you John, ;) but I can't argue with "Pass the Pigs". :D

I don't know John- your rig appears to me as very complete and nice. :) Maybe you could stash some energy bars that can keep for long and a water canteen inside too?

One thing that springs to mind is Mechanic's gloves , you cant afford hand injuries in a push comes to shove situation .

The idea behind that Gareth is for bartering chips,if you came across some fool with cans and no can opener you could trade..........I'm just trying to kid myself heck I'd just take the cans and let the fool starve
