2HO Leathermans.
« on: April 05, 2010, 09:34:06 pm »
It isn't a secret that I have tried for some time now to get my hands on some of those 2HO Leathermans that are made only for the Danish market...with no success. I emailed Leatherman a few days ago, asking how I could get them on this side. A Mrs Sanders from Leatherman International Customer Service responded.

Now this is interesting, and I shall quote her response...

"Thanks for your inquiry and your enthusiasm about our knives. Indeed, the 2-handed tools are only available for purchase in Denmark and maybe soon in Australia."

Of course this hasn't got me any closer to buying any of them. Sigh.

However, Multimat, if you are willing, I may have to count on you if the last part becomes reality.  :pok:  :pok:  :D

I really hope they're not going to pull the OHO models off our shelves....

I did not realize they were thinking of making 2HO models for the Australian market. If it was mentioned on this forum beforehand, I must have blinked at the wrong time.

Yeah, hopefully they won't toss 1HO models out to sea if they do start getting the 2HO models.

Hey.. What's not to like..?  :twak:  :twak:  :D

I certainly don't hope they'll introduce them in Australia, then the Danes wouldn't be "Special" anymore...    :D
The Surge has been discontinued along with the outside nail nick though..   :-\

The Original Wave. I've contacted about every seller here and they're all out years ago.. :-\ One did actually go through all his drawers while talking to me on
the phone.. And I've only seen one for sale in nearly the last year and that's Bob's in top of the picture...  :)

Ah - I see. Maybe the 2HO idea only came along towards the end of the original Wave's life?

What are the date codes on those Bob, are they late (i.e. 2003 ish)?

You know how these things go. One will turn up when you have no cash :D

I'd say you're more likely to see one than me though ;)

If one should turn up, I'll just have to explain to SWMBO why food is overrated..  :D
