I wonder if a 2HO wave blade or similar will fit the MUT..?

It's a BIG blade Allan. :o I don't even know if the 2HO Surge blade would fit properly. :-\

Whether the MUT or other multitool, I like the chance to see the tool in person if possible before I buy it.  I'm on the fence about the MUT, since it is geared towards a rifle that I don't own.  Maybe if this does well they have plans for other not so specialized versions.  The Skeletool AFAIK seems to be a success, so maybe this is the start of something even better

I think it will be interesting to mod but it doesn't look like the scraper and disassembly tool lock. If they don't would have to use Kick tools? Any release date yet?

I handled a Pre-production model at the LM Factory Gift Shop, it's quite a nice piece of work.

I might replace my EDC spirit + Ratchet with the MUT, still have time to contemplate that =D

One handed blades are too dangerous, so you have to mod the OH tool so you can service your assault rifle on the fly....

Gotta love well thought out laws like that!  :D

For all the well thought out laws, I think it's time we pay back the politicians by sending them a nice piping flaming bag of dog poo

Don't be too upset Allen- as I understand it you can have automatic weapons in California, but not a double edged dagger because they are just too dangerous!  :D

Or the state of Michigan a number of years ago tried to classify multitools as "burglar's tools" so they could be outlawed!

Silly politicians are everywhere, not just in Denmark!  :D

What's the lever on the bottom (near the cut hook) for?

Was discussing an idea on the Leathermanusa Facebook wall page, and wondering about that bronze scraper tool.

Is it sharpened enough to be used as an awl, or could it be?
Leatherman claims it is replaceable, so I'm assuming it will be user replaceable. And, as such, if an enterprising individual could fabricate an awl to be used in place of the bronze scraper too - yes?

Since the thing is replaceable, and if it's user replaceable, having a fabricated awl wouldn't void the warranty.

Had to throw that in there while it was on my mind, again.
