Not to worry Ryan, I'll not be setting it aside as long as (one of) my previous projects. ;)

Which, by the way, was finally completed a few days ago... :P   http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,1167.75.html

Bumping because I don't want to see this incredible project go unfinished.  :pok: :pok: :pok: :pok:

I'm dying to get an XE6 myself and do some modding to it. Is it really that hard to take it apart and reassemble it? I wanted to drop the straight edge and saw to make it as thick as a CS4, replace the flat driver bits with a custom made setup that would allow the use of power driver bits,

and also do something with that ridiculous corkscrew.  ::)

Unfortunately I don't have the equipment that J-sews does so readily available. I'll have some access to a welding shop I used to work at, but I can't do whatever I want like I own the place.

In the meantime I'd be happy if J-sews would update us on any progress and/or post more multitool porn.
