Bumping because I don't want to see this incredible project go unfinished.
I'm dying to get an XE6 myself and do some modding to it. Is it really that hard to take it apart and reassemble it? I wanted to drop the straight edge and saw to make it as thick as a CS4, replace the flat driver bits with a custom made setup that would allow the use of power driver bits,
and also do something with that ridiculous corkscrew.
Unfortunately I don't have the equipment that J-sews does so readily available. I'll have some access to a welding shop I used to work at, but I can't do whatever I want like I own the place.
In the meantime I'd be happy if J-sews would update us on any progress and/or post more multitool porn.
