Due to family life and the upcoming birth of our second child in 8 weeks, I´m slow anyways... But I´ll look what I can find for you.

I've been chasing this one up for over 6 months, almost given up few weeks ago.

EDC and OCD. A wicked mix.

I have a couple of questions for you G-lovers. How durable would you say their resin strap is? Should I track a spare one for my Protrek down before they become rare/hard to find?

They cost about 3 times what I was expecting! Alternatively I'll get a zulu strap but the Protrek's is very comfortable on my wrist. I wear it every day but I try to remove it when possible so about 4 hours use daily on average.

Thanks in advance  :salute:

I'd say the resin strap is very durable!! Mine has lasted longer than any other watch strap I've had, and other than the colouring wearing off, it's showing no stress marks.

I wear my watch 24/7, except for 20min while I shower.

Thanks Dmac, that's good to hear. :tu:

Have you had yours for how many years, if you don't mind me asking?

What troubles me is my sweat seems to be a tad corrosive on things :-\

About 2 years now of constant wear. Gold and stainless steel are the only metals that don't corrode on me, and rubber bands usually only last around 6 months before they start falling apart.

Thank you

I guess with regular maintenance that strap should last a long time. Hopefully the watch will be working at the time, too :D

My wife gave me this G-Shock GW2310-1 solar/atomic watch today.

She wears a white G-Shock GW-M850.

I might have tried one on recently.

And maybe the new gold black gulfmaster.   :gimme:

Sadly my budget will probably only stretch to the gold black mudman though.
