Trying to get the most of my scrap leather !

I'm just about out of leather , so I'm rummaging thru my scrapbox . Anyway I get an idea for a pocket slip for an Alox Soldier . This is the type specimen for the genus Alox in much the same sence that I am the type specimen for the genus Asshat !

The only problem I have with the Soldier is the ease with it escapes pockets , I much prefer it to the Pioneer , it's iconic .

I made this slip so that it would not accumulate pocket debris  , and protect old Soldiers from going MIA .

I usually carry in the left breast document pocket of a 5-11 shirt .

Once I buy in some more leather and Kydex , ( A bit of a financial hurdle ATM ) , just let me know your wants .

Sadly leather is a bit pricey , bout $10.00 per square" . I started making stuff when it could be had for about $3.00 per square .

I'm looking for a little hanger for my new EDC knife for the same reason. Pockets can be very badly behaved

I hear you about the price of leather.

I have made a few SAK scales with some scrap pieces. Nothing goes to waste.

After packing it for a couple of days , gotta say it works well . Don't think I'll ever pack "Naked " SAK's in a pocket again .

Kinda sorta. What I'm thinking is a small open pouch which sits in the pocket and has a strap coming off it to attach to my belt, maybe by a pop stud or something. I considered just modding the little leather sleeve which came with my new knife by adding some paracord, but I want one which fits other things like a 91mm SAK or other slippies etc. Not entirely sure how to get it done and don't have any leather laying about either - I keep looking in charity shops for fugly handbags to dissect   

It's dual purpose for me - to protect the knife from my iphone and to protect my iphone from the knife
