Tony, Check out this carpet knife I bought at the flea market for a dollar.

It is a old National wonder Knife. It even had ten blades in the handle. I am not sure if they still make them. I had one years ago it was a pretty good knife. What makes this knife special it has no slot bar for slotted blades aka Bloody Mary blades and has no notches for utility blades so any blade will fit this knife even the standard duty if you can still find them and carpet trimmer blades only have one notch they only fit on old style knifes with one nub for the blade. They are very thin and and a chisel edge that is extremely sharp much sharper than a utility blade. They are very good fine work.  Buy the way the best place to buy your blades is at a flooring supply just google it you will fined one close to you. They sell Personna blades they come oiled and each blade is wrapped in paper.  They should cost around ten dollars for a box of a hundred.

The two old school utility knifes are the style that trimmer blades will fit with out modding.

Those are some great looking knives Mike  :tu:

I’ve not seen those carpet trimmer blades before, I didn’t know they existed
And what are the oblong blades used for?

Tony, trimmer blades are made for carpet wall trimers here in the states you can buy them at whole sale flooring supplys and Lows, Home Depot sell them in small packs.

The booties were crowded this morning
Picked up quite a lot...

Nice little leather sheath
Two Zippos, one not Zippo (one works)
Some Felco secateurs (be very nice once they are oiled)
Wilkenson Sword pruning knife with a red handle (Richardson I think)
and what might be a Mercat folder
And ...  :D

Hi Paul  :waving: sorry you didn’t find anything this morning  :salute:

Smashie.
Not a great picture, it’s a leather punch

So the Wilkinson sword pruner is made by..... Wilkinson Sword,

The Mercat isn’t, it seems to be a cheapy made in Solingen Germany (bent blade so its just had a hammering  :) )

The ‘not a zippo’ is made by Hanson, works great  :tu:

Nice finds Tony!

The Felco's are a great pick up.

Looks like another Perfect Handle screwdriver.  :D

Two more hand vises?  One for each axe head?

Is that a grape pruning knife!

Felco's; yes the GF has some, quality tools  :tu:

Perfect handle; been battered as usual  ::) this ones quite bent even the handle is bent so it might loose its scales  :-\

I have a plan for the vices (one was made in 1930)

The tiny one at the front is a made in Sheffield by Richards,  same as the pipe tool above it
it was only 50p  :)

The Secateurs have cleaned and sharpened up very nicely
Who knew the Swiss made such nice tools?

And the Wilkinson Sword folder runs a lot better after an oil and sharpen  (was and still is a chisel grind) :tu:

I bought a few goodies at the flea market today. I got a old Buck 112 in nice shape for ten dollars and some dollar stuff.

This is a pic of the Buck 112 cleaned up.

Yes the red thing is a utility knife Roberts Fat Boy I cant't stop buying these one dollar utility knifes I guess it is the carpet layer in me. ;-)
The silver thing is glass case. Bought it for my wife.
The little blue case is a band aide case to go in my fishing kit.
I put my maglite in the case with a extra battery.  Looks pretty good?

Your 112 looks to be an older model. Does it have any symbols or dots after the number 112 on the tang stamp?
