^ Nice score.

A lefty  ?

Thanks Steve
I'm still learning, what characteristics would constitute the knife being a lefty?

Dug through numerous knife piles at a 250 lot flea market, only came away with this nice whittler for cheap cheap.

1935 Remington UMC R6393 in really good shape, the springs are dangerously strong

Great looking Remington!  I've wanted to find one cheaply locally as well.

Curious, what is the main difference between a whittler and a stockman/cattlemen's type knife?   They've always been similar in my view.

I really like the old Gaz sets, well thought out  :tu:

Picked up some more stuff this morning
Inc a sander (mine has been playing up), a really cool adjustable spanner and a scout knife without any markings

Great finds!

I've never seen an adjustable wrench like that before.  Wonder if the cutouts on the handle are for different nuts and bolts, or just decorative?

The fixed blade is probably American made, but by who, I don't know.  A number of makers used a handle like that.

Cody
I haven't cleaned up the wrench yet,
They were a very popular knife over here a few years ago made by a lot of different makers
The bottom one was made in Sheffield England
The one above that was made in Germany
And my newest one is nearly finished sitting on top of my handle wax jar

And the average per person metal and wood in GB deficit continues....

Great finds!   The brown stain isn't that bad.  At least it isn't brown carpet glued to the sides.

On my way home Thursday, picked up a nonworking Zippo in the Charity shop
Managed to get the old flint out as it had got wet and turned to soft gunge
It still needs more work as it’s not easy to spark

You really do have a better calibre of car booty down your way mate.

At the meet-up we should have a challenge to see who can get the best item for £5 in under an hour.
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

I was out shopping at my local Tesco this morning and stumbled across a Car Boot Sale on the go, I decided to have a local around and I'm glad I did!

I paid a total of £7 to two different stall holders for everything shown, a real mixed bag with a couple of bits that will be great as projects. The milling bits are of new use to me so will hopefully sell or trade them away.

Cheers.

The whole bundle.

This was at the bottom of the caddy.

To big for me.

These will definitely get some use.
