Not too sure Mate, they are scattered around so it doesn't seem like there's a lot of them, (I actually passed by a few today)  :D

I think I have a similar folder to that somewhere, think its in my trades box

I did see a very nice Electricians knife with screwdriver and a 50's BAK but she wanted too much for them  :(

Kind of a high tech version of a barrel knife. Not Swedish though I guess? :)

Nice little Elwell you got there Tony :tu:

No SAKs for me this week but I did find some cool bits...
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

I have not seen one like that before, looks like a newer design

That french knife looks nice, the decimalization penknife reminds of a conversation I had with my Mum, at the time she carefully explained why my pocket money was cut in half, left me feeling that somehow I had been screwed   :-\

Decimalisation happened prior to my birth but I still think the knife is fun in a quirly kind of way :)

The black blade is a nice sharp Richartz. Why they felt the need to do it in black I'm not quite sure

No new tools for me from this morning's wandering. Nice walk though, not too hot or too cold today and it didn't rain. Amazing :D

I wonder what they are worth (probably about what they cost me  ) but they are very nice  :D

Nice sheath knives mate. I'd be interested to hear what that steel is like on the Nowill bowie, as if it takes an edge and keeps it

Al you don't think they are worth a great amount do you?
I only ask as I don't want to sharpen them if they are collectors items
You will be able to play with them at the next meet unless I have swapped one for Kukri or something by then   :D

Nah, I wouldn't have thought so mate - you can pick up a new one at a reasonable price ...  :-\

Guards are less robust now instead of the cast brass (probably from the old brass founders at the end of their road), but I wouldn't expect big bucks swapping hands for one. I'm an inconsiderate tool user though mate, and collectibles are just a way of comparing how good old stuff works vs new stuff  >:D So from that angle I'm probably not a good reference point

I'm just waiting for the big reveal .... there's got to have been a "I could make a <something-or-other> out of that" motive  :D

looks ok to me mate, wheels look good, was it a bargain  :tu: i pick stuff like this up if cheap enough, i once picked up this old early 80's diamondback for £10  :o  there was a little girl in front of me asking so i said to her do you want it and the said no so i ask and he said £10, i snapped his hand off mate, i cleaned it right up and even raced it a few times and then sold it to my mate in london for £250 and i got my PK ripper with the money  :tu: sadly this kind of thing doesnt happen enough but when it does  :ahhh   :ahhh   :ahhh

a pic restored, it took me 2 hours to get it like this ,it was covered in what looked like 20 odd years of scum and it even had its original tyres  :o

I look at these pics and wish i kept it  :-\

with mags on

down iford race track
