I really must not buy any more Axes

A very nice 'wheel brace' or hand drill
3 wedges
A big hand-full of Axes
Battered ARPAX
BAK but made for the general public with no writing on the side
Compass (for drawing circles not going for around in  ;) )
Tiny wood rasp
Screwdriver for '6mm screw-driver bits'
Lovely old ('socket-ed' I think) wood chisel (cant see the maker yet)
A plastic handled chisel from Footprint
Lovely (but battered) brass folding rule made by I & D Smallwood, Birmingham
Smallish Ball pein hammer

A good morning all round  :tu:
I also bought eggs bread and fruit.....Sitting here with a bacon sarni and a large coffee

 :D

I think Tony must have started a mini economy in second hand axes in his local area.  Anyone and everyone is heading there to sell their old rusty axe heads. :D

So I'm some kind of rust economy magnet? Part of the thriving 'red' market?

Though one Guy did say here comes the 'Axe Man' (a tool selling chap that I sometimes have a little chat with) and another couple used to call me 'the Knife Man' (not seen them for a while)

Bob very kindly found me some information on the USA made file in this picture  :salute:

Bob's reply was;
I did a bit of digging, and I believe your file was made by the Kearney & Foot company. Here are a couple of links you might be interested in:

Hope that helps, and please feel free to share this info with everyone.
Take care!
Bob :)

Thanks very much for your help Bob!

Not exactly a car boot, however just got back from Castleton visiting a second hand shop we found at the mot meet here in Sheffield. Fortunately I did not have to sing and I picked up this lot.
Nomad
Midnite manager
Old Escort

Also picked up a really good hole punch for leather work
