I'm sure some people will think I should have left it as it was   

I wanted the handle to look like one I've seen on some old Billhooks

And here it is, well its not quite finished I have put it together to check the fit
I will soak the handle in Teak oil some more before the final gluing

One of the main reasons for doing this was the handle was just too short for my hands (Its nearly big enough for a two handed grip now)
