Stonewashed Gerber Shard...
on: June 14, 2010, 08:48:56 PM
I just love this tool.  There aren't that many tools out there that are this small, sturdy and inexpensive that has a Philipps along with a decent selection of other tools.
Loved this tool so much that I tried to stonewash it in my tumbler.  The finish isn't as coarse as I like, but I'm still happy with the results.

Have you got pics of anything else you've stonewashed?

I followed your idea folks, only mine is more like a brushed finish. We have some sanding paper here at the house that is on a foam block (you buy it like that) and it hugs contours and stuff real good. I attacked every part of the Artifact and I must say it's much more of a handsome tool when its like this rather than tactical black. I added some polishing agent to it to shine it some and now it's riding in my pocket more than ever. Thanks guys.
