Thank you all for the comments. They are all very much appreciated as always  :)

Great work Evil :salute: :salute: On the scissors, I like how you used the thumb stud as a fulcrum for the spring to push off of. Great idea! 8)
Thank you. It is one of those little details that I didn't even think anyone would notice, but you are spot on. Rather than equal spring pressure throughout the length of travel, it progressively adds more pressure......

A bit of a bump, but I'm still going through threads I missed before I joined. This mod is wicked awesome! I wish I had a snowball's chance in a cat scanner of reproducing it on my newly aquired Wave as I don't really need the file, but this level of engineering is way beyond me. Hats off to some excellent work! I fully agree Leatherman should hire you!

  • I may get older but I refuse to grow up.
Regretfully Evil hasn't been online in almost two years now so I doubt he'll be able to answer that question. ;)

I would buy a wave, just to buy the mod kit.  :multi:

Evil, what did you remove to put in the awl and the scissors? Great work and craftsmanship. very impressive.  :salute:  :salute:  :salute:

Brilliant design and craftsmanship Evil! When you offer the scissors kit for sale, I'll get a Wave again just for it.

Thank you, Demel. To put in the scissors, I removed the outside file. On the inside, on one side is the monster awl and 3D phillips driver, the other side is the large bit driver and large flat driver.....  :salute:

Thank you, Dr Hunt. I'll keep that in mind.....

Which browser do you use?

I use Chrome (latest build) on a MacOS 10.12.6. I installed the extension, quit and reopened Chrome, reloaded the page but those image placeholders did not even blink  :-\
