leatherman surge

Hey,
today i bought my second leatherman, (i have a supertool 300 that i love more than anything else!) a surge.... Personally i tought it looked great on the internet, went to walmart and bought it for 118 $ with tax wich, drained my bank account (im still just 15)! Thinking of returning it for 2 major reasons: even tought i use my supertool every day when im in school i think that right now it might be a lot of stuff for somebody like me to have 2 leathermans a gerber multi and two knives a leatherman knife and 2 crkts. second reason: it feels kinda cheap, never tought i would say that of a leatherman but it rattles and im used to the large and heavy size of the supertool wich make me sure that it wont break while the surge look more like...nan if i break u can get an other one... So i know i will return it cuz imma get killed by my mom if she figures out ive blown all my money on this but should i keep my money or should i buy something smaller and different sucjh as a squirt ES4 wich i would use a lot given the fact that i work a lot with electricity for fun....also if somebody would like to buy it offf from me we could also arrange that, like i said i bought it today so its brand new.... thanks for all advice given

I, personally, would suggest you return the Surge for a refund. $118 is an outrageous price when they can still sometimes be found on sale for all of ~$40-50. :/ While I haven't held one in person, I do know many people who will vouch for it, but at the same time, $118 is around the US MSRP, and that, in my opinion, is an outrageous price. :/

patrickgt I concur Sazabi and I would return it ASAP.. The amount you paid is absolutely a ripoff... I picked one up via ebay with shipping for around $50.00 so don't get snuckered..
BTW, I agree with you about the mighty 300. At first I had my doubts, but no longer, HAIL the mighty 300!!
Cheers,
Serge

Well they were sold out at pretty much every Canadian Tire within my area too so what I did was go to a Lowe's store and had them price match it. No problems at all. All I did was bring a printout of the price of the Surge from the Canadian Tire website and showed them that.
