I had this titanium whistle custom made for me. It's 2-1/2" long with a ceramic glass breaker ball on the end. Enjoy!   :D

looks good GG dare i ask how much? ( if you dont mind)  :)

Isn't that kinda like the one you sent me?  I wear mine on my st. christophers chain.

The new Fox 40 Sonic claims more than 120db:

I'm not sure how substantial a jump from the previous models rated at only 115 this is, as I imagine both would cause permanent hearing loss if you used it often enough!

This reminds me I have a storm whistle which fortunately I've not had to use  :salute: and I've never tested the 118~120 db claim maybe I'll test it at the UK meet up  :D

That said and TBH I treat mine as a safety device to be used sparingly when needed not something you would blast just for the fun of it  :tu: which BTW could cause hearing problems if used prolonged JMO  ;) After all if I need to whistle just for fun I can just blow a few raspberries  :D

I always have a Fox 40 micro with me.  I've only needed it about 2 times in the last 10 years - both times to signal my progeny at a distance - but its good to have just in case.  As with most things we carry.

I picked up some Tops Whistles for the family while hiking and camping. http://www.topsknives.com/product_info.php?products_id=248

Found them somewhere online in a multi-pack that worked out good

A bit late to the party,

Website has nothing  to do with me, just a happy customer etc.
