Yep, that is not a Leatherman at all. I would say jzmtl is right on the money with someone stealing the real thing and replacing it with the Chinese knock off.

I have the same, but mine is called a Mammut with a cute picture of a wholly mammoth on the handle. It is about half way down in my first post here...

Big Target, that is true, but on the Mammut, only one side has the cute little design. The other side has no markings.

One thing about that cheap Chicom knockoff to me is that it seems to resemble the ORIGINAL Wave and not its current incarnation, better late than never I assume huh?
