Thank you, sir. Has been one of my favorite SAKs since the first generation was introduced. I have A LOT more of them, but these are the pretty ones.

There is something nice about that one. Has a certain class to it. I was real surprised with the beauty of the red one when I opens it. Really was more brilliant than any of the pics I had seen to date.

What's the deal with that last one? Tweezers holder? :D

I had seen picks from a lot of his builds and started dreaming about this build. I got in tough with him to see if it could be done. Had it in a couple weeks and have been carrying it since. I made a leather pouch for it. It has picked up a nice patina since.

That's just a genius invention. Wouldn't it be cool if Vic wanted to license it from him? Maybe he should patent it!

Thanks guys,

the Wenger M51 came after a visit from some swiss friends in Melbourne, after dinner we put our SAKs on the table. My dad with 3, me with 2 (I was only visiting) and Primin and Werner had 3 between them. Werner asked me if I would like his old army knife (of course I said "YES PLEASE"!) :D A few weeks later this nice 1949 Wenger arrived in the post......... nice to get a soldier from it's original owner!

cheers,

-John
