OD cerakote with brass liners and keyring salvaged from the "few" old cross I have bought.

I would love an OD OC Farmer with brass liners and a red cross. Oh that would be so sweet.

Beautiful Altar de Muertos (Shrine for the Deceased) on the background, Rick.

Oh, and great looking knife too.

Had a major mail call today  :mail:.

I will post all my new goodies as time permits but I couldn't let these two pass, my fist customs:

The first knife is a Custom Compact CT by GigaHz.
The knife looks gorgeous and the craftsmanship is Top Drawer.
I will start carrying this SAK tomorrow morning. I know I'm going to enjoy it a lot and more so knowing it comes form the hands of a beautiful and generous person.
I will try modding some Wiha 4mm bits to see if I can make them fit the CT. I'll report on this as soon as I have my results.

The second knife is a Custom Electrician by Shyph.
Again, a masterfully executed mod. Vic should contract him as their quality assurance Sr. consultant.

I am very proud for owning knives built by two very special people who really take pride on their work.

It was a pleasure dealing with these two gentlemen.

So many SAKs, so little money... :-\

I'm going to get myself a Minathor one of these days, I know I will. Just need to be a little more disciplined and not get distracted in the way there.

I had to look it up but why would I want a Minathor?

Are there that many watch tinkerers about? Or am I missing something?

Yup, have to agree. :-\  Seems like mods are flooding this thread and regular production models, however special they might be get buried under them.

Might be better if we kept the mods in the Show off you mods thread as it was originally the idea. :salute:

In fact, you're missing a vital clue :o :D The point is not why would you want, but instead why you wouldn't want ...

Wenger Evo 16 black.

I haven't used it because I am one of the suckers - I mean participants - in the 30 Day Minimalist Challenge.  Seems like a decent SAK.  But a couple of things I notice aren't so groovy.  For one, the scissors are made to move up and down a little as you use them.  You Wenger guys will know what I'm talking about.  This is no biggy, but not what I would characterize it as a good feature.  And second, the awl is not sharpened on the sides or the tip.  So basically, its a big metal toothpick for poking things.  I'm not sure what you do with a blunt, unsharpened awl, but there must be something.  I guess this explains why I am a Victorinox guy and not a Wenger guy.

Otherwise, its pure SAK and has the tools you would expect for its size.
