Very nice that Forester. I like the theme of your collection, I got a feeling it's quite unique.

Thanks mate

I know that there are some more people that collect the army issued Swiss Army Knives., That part of my collection is just in its beginning stage, there are many many knives still out there waiting for me to be found  :D

I don't know how many people also collect all the SAKs with (US) government emblems though

Amici,
Today for your viewing pleasure is my newly acquired Super Tinker which I picked up for in virtually unused condition for a song.. What I did was boil it in hot water for about 20 minutes, as well as replaced the red scales with a fresh pair of black plus scales and some Rem oil.. Now GOOD to go!!

By the way, I have noticed that with this model, that the package hook is literally painful to deploy. Is this something native to this model or for all 3 layer SAKS in general?

Cheers,
Serge

I have a fair selection of SAKs with U S government markings of one kind or another.

A number of presidents and assorted cabinet officials had Classics done with their names on them. Also Classics for the Senate and several agencies/departments.

Classics (and two Spartans) were offered with U S military crests on the handles. Not official, but sold through base exchanges.

A number of outdoor agencies had Huntsmans with their logos on them. The one for the National Park Service was restricted to sales to employees of the agency, so semi-official.

Lots of others on the Federal, State and local levels.

Not SAKs. Rather a trio of recent traditional slip-joints.

Henckels Copperhead, Case Jr Scout, Buck Trio Stockman.

Haven't received it yet, but won it for a decent price on evilbay. Looks like a slight fixer upper. On the blades at least. I'm stoked to have an OC in my collection again.
