Got a new tool.
« on: August 06, 2010, 05:13:10 pm »
I got a Swiss+Tech Micro-Plus EX 9 in 1. I was at Radio Shack looking at phones and saw it and had to have it. I'd love to post pics but alas, I don't have a digital camera. Although if I get a new phone I should get a camera on that so maybe I'll get pics later.

But here's what it looks like.

I had the smaller Swiss+Tech pliers but they were kinda puny but these are big enough that they may actually be useful.

Yep, that is the same one I found at the local Zellers. It also has a nice weight to it.

Don't think I've seen that one before. Is it a new design?
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

I believe it is, as I haven't seen it on their web site last year.

Neil, Alundra...it is about 3/4s down.

That is too funny! I was at Radio Shack yesterday and I picked up the same tool. It's really nice for the $$$.  :tu:  I like the design as it looks like a mini pair of pliers, very interesting...

You are welcome.

I like this tool simply because of its heft. I have given 3 as gifts to close friends.

Well, after having this for 2 months or so I want to say that I'm very impressed. The smaller keychain pliers are basically as useless as boobies on a boar hog but these are substantial enough to actually work. I certainly wouldn't want to rebuild an engine with them but for an emergency tool to carry on your keychain they're great. Still 2 big thumbs up.  :tu: :tu:
