I'm joining too! :D I've just received my Black Squirt Ps4  :mail: :mail:

At first glance it looks more fragile than the Micra/Style CS, btw

Funny you should mention that because my Black PS4 is on a field trip back to Oregon for a broken plier head.

I indeed have the feeling the pliers can break easily  :ahhh

So, quick first impressions:

- the tools get out much easier than, say those of the Style CS, i.e. I'm not going to break nails there

- the pliers do feel more fragile than the scissors on the Micra/Style CS  :ahhh

- the date code is kind of.. quite hidden %) I can only read the last two digits, 11 and there's one ... either 3 or 8 before that... i.e. it must have been produced either  in March or August last year ()

- the scissors also feel very fragile, but, of course, they're for paper only, lol. Anyway, I think I'll love them Has anyone had problems with them, btw?

- the tool is much less "loos/flimsy/shaky" than my Micra... even I can say it doesn't move aaaaaaat all and snaps brilliantly.

- I like the feel of the finish

And I noticed something weirdly looking on the rivets. Do you think someone played with it or it could've come from the factory this way? [The two "bottom" rivets]

 :woohoo:

I would guess that the strange rivets were probably just a misalignment at the factory.

Got a used Torx PS4 about two weeks ago, and it's awesome so far, including the file that everyone seems to dislike  :P I'll probably be replacing it with an awl from a P4 though. Anyone know any cool mods for the PS4?

Not so much of a "mod" per se, but I discovered a secret (that is, undocumented by Leatherman) storage hole for a straight pin, similar to the hole found on some SAKs:

http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,23343.msg429343.html#msg429343

I used my pin just the other day. I had an application where I needed to peel up the corner of a small sticker on a recessed metal surface. My first inclination was to use my knife tip, but having had those snap off on other knives I own when used as such, against metal, even nice ones like Spyderco,  I decided to not chance it and I used my pin instead. Worked like a charm.

I love this mod, that pin comes in really handy! I'm surprised leatherman hasn't caught on and started adding pins yet..

They would have to charge $5 more per tool to meet standard corporate pricing scales. Which would probably cut into sales.

And if they brazenly defy that, and don't raise the price by $5, what exactly happens?

Btw, are all dates so difficult to see? I mean, it's pretty obvious what's the mark, but still it was a little difficult to find in the beginning.
